List parameters: limit (1–50, default 20), offset (0–10000, default 0) and optional q (up to 100 characters). Use the returned count to page through results. Product handles come from the list endpoint.

Responses include product titles, descriptions, variants and storefront links. For regional prices, current availability, shipping and checkout, follow the product link and select your market. Catalog responses may be cached for 60 seconds.

Errors use JSON with error.code, error.message, error.hint and error.docs. Status codes include 400 (invalid input), 404 (not found), 405 (unsupported method), 429 (rate limited) and 503 (temporarily unavailable). Retry 429 and 503 with backoff; correct input before retrying 400.

Production allows up to 20 API requests per second per IP, with a short burst allowance. Use pagination and cache responses; this is a shared public catalog.

MCP tools

Connect a Streamable HTTP MCP client to https://pepvial.com/mcp. Tools: listPepVialProducts and getPepVialProduct. The server is stateless and uses JSON responses; it does not offer a standalone SSE subscription (GET returns 405).

Markdown and discovery

Public pages support Markdown negotiation; HTML remains the browser default. Missing pages return HTTP 404 with a Markdown explanation and discovery links. Account, cart, checkout and order pages are excluded.
